We have done a few of Jen Wilkins' studies with our ladies Bible Study group and I can not recommend them enough。 These books have taught me more about studying Scripture than another class/person I have encountered in life so far。 Through slow examination of the book， verse by verse， we are taught to look for repeating words， historical context， cross-references that pertain to the topic， etc。Yes， these studies take work and brain power and don't include any personal stories/cute anecdotes abou We have done a few of Jen Wilkins' studies with our ladies Bible Study group and I can not recommend them enough。 These books have taught me more about studying Scripture than another class/person I have encountered in life so far。 Through slow examination of the book， verse by verse， we are taught to look for repeating words， historical context， cross-references that pertain to the topic， etc。Yes， these studies take work and brain power and don't include any personal stories/cute anecdotes about the author's life。 You just learn to study God's Word for what it is — a book about God。We used the accompanying audios for group sessions every other week。 They are also excellent。 。。。more
